InteliJET
InteliJET is a complete, high performance fluid management
system that controls both inflow and outflow. It can also be
used as a stand-alone irrigation system that delivers stable and
accurate joint distension, quickly and easily.
Featuring flow rates in excess of 2 1 min and special high flow
cannulas, InteliJET is a patented, state-of-the-art fluid
management system. It actively controls both inflow and outflow
to the joint, improving operative joint distension, thus
increasing access to the operative site. The InteliJET System is
designed to communicate with the Dyonics Power Shaver System for
more efficient, effective fluid management.
InteliJET features a centrifugal pump for a balanced flow and
clear flowing viewing field. This allows for joint pressure
relief using free backflow through the tubing cassette. In
addition, the system delivers accurate calculation of in-joint
pressure for accurate pressure management.
InteliJET is the only fluid management system to deliver such
high flow rates and performance in arthroscopy. InteliJET also
provides:
- Gravity-fed inflow that serves as a backup irrigation
system
- Option of detailed or quick-startup menu, for flexibility
in a variety of OR setups or procedures
- Preconnected tubing cassettes for simplified setup
- Wireless remote for control of pressure and suction from
the sterile field
Access 15
Access 15 Irrigation System-A Better Way to View Joint Pressure
Management.
The Smith & Nephew Access 15 is the fast and easy system for
accurate joint pressure management. The snap-on tubing cassette
makes setup a simple one-hand operation. Advanced Flow
Regulation (AFR) delivers optimal flow rates for stable and
accurate in-joint pressure with any inflow setup. For optimum
visualization, the system’s wash function is designed to both
clear debris and distend the joint immediately in the event of
sudden fluid loss. This key feature makes Access 15 ideal for
ACL repair or subacromial decompression.
In addition, Access 15 provides:
- Maximum flow rate of 1.5 1/min for procedural speed and
efficiency
- Cost-savings by conserving saline and reducing bag changes
- Wireless remote control for full system control from the
sterile field
- Remote foot pedal for easy operation of wash function
Vulvan EAS
ORATEC Interventions Inc, Menlo Park, Calif, offers the Vulcan™
EAS ElectroThermal Arthroscopy™ System. The Vulcan EAS combines
ablation, temperature control, and tissue resection with a
200-watt output. A user-friendly interface and auto-probe
recognition make the EAS easy to set up in the operating room. A
variable audio output informs the surgeon when the target tissue
temperature has been achieved, which allows the surgeon to focus
on the procedure, not the temperature display.
